Meet The Club Directors
Jason & Haley Patch
Champion athletes are not just born - they’re selected, trained, molded and challenged. Established in 2022, Granite State Volleyball Club prides itself on developing youth volleyball players to be top level athletes. We select athletes to join our program who have a passion for the game of volleyball and are driven to succeed. We hone raw talent to maturity with quality coaching, primal workouts and a true love of the sport. Teamwork, perseverance and sportsmanship are the hallmarks of Granite State Volleyball Club. Granite State Volleyball Club was founded by Jason and Haley Patch in the summer of 2022. Haley, having spent over a decade coaching club volleyball and over two decades invested in the volleyball world and Jason, newly passionate about the game of volleyball but having over 25 years of experience coaching youth sports, were passionate about developing a program that gave young volleyball-loving athletes the opportunity to learn, train and grow in a safe and fun setting. Their mission was and continues to be to foster a welcoming and positive environment for all members of all ages and skill levels. They believe in hiring knowledgeable, enthusiastic, passionate coaches who are dedicated to their mission of demonstrating and training strong volleyball fundamentals, skills and strategies in a low-pressure environment.
Coach Haley Patch
Co-Director
18U Head Coach
My purpose as a coach is to educate athletes on their volleyball technique and abilities but also, and possibly more importantly, to encourage players to develop skills that go beyond the volleyball court such as responsibility, punctuality, teamwork, kindness, loyalty and commitment to their teammates, program and to their goals. I aim to create an environment for all players that fosters a positive learning environment where talent levels can be pushed, tested and challenged while having fun and cultivating meaningful relationships. As a leader of this program, my objective is to have all athletes, regardless of their skills and ability, feel that they are a better person for having been a part of this athletic club.

Coach Chris Watson
18U Navy Assistant Coach
Chris has lived in Milford, NH for 25 years and has two girls that both enjoy volleyball. Chris's oldest daughter played for Milford schools growing up and his youngest is currently playing for Milford varsity in her sophomore year. This is also her second season playing for GSVC.
Chris is a multi-sport athlete who has played many years of baseball, football and hockey along with recreational volleyball and has always enjoyed watching his daughters play the sport, He has a lot of energy to bring to the team and is looking forward to a new experience in the coaching role.
Growing up playing sports and being coached by many different coaches, Chris has learned a lot about team play. He is a firm believer in what you di in practice is what you will do on the field/court in game situations. He feels that if you give it your all and know that each and every play you did your best and tried your hardest, it will help with the team success. It will also help with commitment, trust and communication to both teammates and coaches. Just go out and have fun! Let the hard work these girls put in during practice show what makes a team stride.
Chris has always been a big believer is stretching and cardio so, when things get tough the energy will kick in and the girls will over-power their opponents and play through the toughest situations.
Although, Chris has never played organized volleyball and am new to coaching, he is looking forward to learning and helping to develop players to be the best athletes that they can be on the court and off!
